It's homecoming time for Kareena Kapoor. Her parents, Babita and Randhir Kapoor seem to have patched up; Bebo herself has patched up with her aunt Neetu Kapoor and cousin Ranbir Kapoor. And now, reports suggest that she will be doing a film for the RK banner very soon.

After much consideration, the three Kapoor brothers, Randhir, Rishi and Rajeev have decided to go ahead with a breezy, romantic comedy early next year. The script has been finalized and the screenplay is being worked upon. Papa Randhir has confirmed that Kareena will star in the film. At the same time, the brothers are also launching a film with Ranbir in the lead. Both films are expected to start at the same time. The last film that came out of the RK banner was Aa Ab Laut Chalen in 1999. It was directed by Rishi and starred Akshay Khanna and Aishwariya Rai. With these two youngsters, it seems that there are good times ahead for the RK banner, which fell into a kind of rut after the passing of Raj Kapoor. As for Kareena, life seems to have come a full circle for her.

New Delhi, June 09 (ANI): One look at the line up of Kareena Kapoor films in months to come and it is crystal clear that she is easily the busiest female actor in town today. After a mixed 2009, the actor now has flurry of projects, all of which would now be releasing one after another.

First to come would be the remake of Stepmom where she is said to have delivered a powerhouse performance in company of Kajol. Then, she would be letting her hair down for Golmaal 3 where she would be returning with the gang of boys this Diwali.

However, before the release of these two films, Kareena has some unfinished business in the form of Milenge Milenge, which would finally be releasing in July after being launched 5 years ago.

Reason? "My next two releases required me to get back to a fuller shape. In my next release Kambhakt Ishq I play a surgeon who moonlights as a super-model. So she can't really have the figure of Victoria Beckham , can she?" A surgeon who's a super-model? Sounds like a deadly combination. "Yeah my character flies to Italy to become a super-model to support herself financially. I didn't want to play the character looking like an international model because she's basically in another profession. So I looked more filled. Again, for my next release Mr & Mrs Khanna with Salman I play a wife. So I wanted to look more filled up." Now Kareena has decided to hold steady with her new weight. "I weigh 54 kgs now, which for a girl my height is quite okay. People used to wonder what 'Size 0' is and I'd say, 'Just look at me'. I don't want that anymore. I want to look like a nice normal healthy girl." Of late Kareena has been working like a dog and eating like a hog. "I've been working 20 hours a day .I'm exhusated. And I eat like a pig. So in any case holding on to the mythical 'Size 0' look is impossible."

Kareena to produce films with Saif

From sharing a fat lot of their precious time together, love birds Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are now going to be partners in business as well.
Though Bebo’s name isn’t yet included in the logo of Saif’s production house Illuminati Films, she is no less the producer of his second home production Agent Vinod than Saif. The film is an espionage thriller to be directed by Sriram Raghavan .
As reported by a daily, Saif says, “We’ll definitely be producing films together. It will give us a chance to grow as actors.” Kareena is part of Saif’s production house Illuminati Films along with his partner Dinesh Vijan now. Saif further adds, “She is as much the producer of Agent Vinod as I.”
‘Agent Vinod’ will be second film to be produced by Saif after Love Aaj Kal . Saif and Kareena are getting ready for some on-screen dhishum-dhishum in it. It’s a wish come true for Bebo, who always wanted to do full fledged action scenes like ‘Tomb Raider’ star, Angelina Jolie.
Reports are that she will undergo a rigorous training programme to get into athletic shape. ‘Agent Vinod’ will have several fight scenes between Bebo and Saif, just like the sleek stylish fight sequences we saw between Angelina and Brad Pitt in ‘Mr & Mrs Smith’.
Kareena will play an undercover agent in ‘Agent Vinod’. She will be like famous notorious woman spy of all times, Mata Hari.

Kareena on Sunday evening received Rotary Club vocational young achiever award by Dist. Governor Mumbai, Bansi Dhurandhar. “I’ve always done what I’ve believed in, and I followed my heart. I’m very humbled by this award,” she is quoted as saying.
The diva will soon get the award of India Today Woman – for her contribution to Indian cinema – by renowned American legal clerk and environmental activist Erin Brockovich, who will especially come to India for this award ceremony. Erin became a known face when a movie based on her was made with Julia Roberts playing her character.
Last year was not so happening for actress Kareena but the celebrity Kareena was busy with her stint in endorsements. Currently the lady is endorsing as many as 12 brands like Pepsi, Globus and Airtel, to name a few. She also has modeling assignments and big banner movies.

Since he plays the role of a mute character yet again in Golmaal Returns, does his sister i.e. Kareena always understand what he tries to say. "That's actually the funny part because sometimes she does understand and sometimes she doesn't. It is the latter situation which never fails to create a huge mess. However, from the heart of my hearts, I play a brother who is very protective about his sister", says Tusshar.

Pop Sensation Beyonce is all set to do a bootylicious act in the film. The film stars the super hit pair of Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor."

Prashant Shah line producer of KAMBAKTH ISHQ in LA and also a major Hollywood presence says, "Yes we are in talks. It is the first time ever that a mainstream Indian Producer is making such an international film. So far, we have had Deepa Mehta who is a Canadian, Meera Nair and Gurinder Chadha who have been Indians of International origin making a splash in Hollywood. But with KAMBAKTH ISHQ it will be the first time that an Indian producer will be doing this. It is only Sajid who has made this happen. We are in talks with Beyonce and we have also received a letter from Arnold's office. We are yet to work out the logistics. Things will be confirmed shortly and we will be making a formal announcement when that happens. We are also looking at other Hollywood names to join the cast of KAMBAKTH ISHQ." Says Sajid Nadiadwala, "Yes, we shall be making a formal announcement very soon. I cannot reveal any further details. As our Indian film industry is making its presence felt and going global, I would like my banner Nadiadwala Grandsons to scale the global level in film making too.

Kareena Kapoor: It will be great if the movie releases. I think its a great film and I signed the movie at the script level and the script was great. It is sad that the movie was stuck for 4 years. But if it does release, I am with the film.
Karishma Upadhyay: It's learnt that the shooting for movie, however, has not yet been completed?
Kareena Kapoor: I guess so because it got stuck for 4 years, I don't know, may be will see the film once this festive season gets over and then decide whether to shoot it further or not.
Karishma Upadhyay: Are you there in Imtiaz Ali's next venture?
Kareena Kapoor: All I know is that Imtiaz is making a movie and Saif is in it, however, he hasn't spoken to me about it. However, I have spoken to him and he has told me that after Geet's role, it has to be something different. And even I think that he has to give me a hero's role.
Karishma Upadhyay: There are rumours that Rani is upset with you? Is it so?
Kareena Kapoor: That's complete rubbish. I haven't met Rani, she is my dear friend and when she sees me, she treats me like her kid sister. She gives me a hug and is one of my good friend. So, I don't know how the rumours started in the first place.

શાહિદ કપૂર સાથેના બ્રેકઅપ બાદ કરિના એની સાથે કોઈપણ સંબંધ રાખવાના મૂડમાં નથી. રવિવારે યોજાનારા ‘સ્ટાર ગોલ્ડ’ના ‘સબસે ફેવરિટ કૌન’ના એવોર્ડ વિતરણ સમારંભમાં સ્ટેજ પર પરફોર્મ કરવાની કરિનાએ ના પાડી દીધી છે. કેમ કે, આ શોમાં શાહિદ પણ પરફોર્મ કરવાનો છે. અગાઉ હા પાડયા બાદ છેલ્લી ઘડીએ કરિના શોમાંથી ખસી ગઈ હતી.
‘સબસે ફેવરિટ કૌન’ના વિજેતાઓને એવોર્ડ આપવા ૨૩મી ડિસેમ્બરે એક કાર્યક્રમ રાખવામાં આવ્યો છે, જેમા બોલીવૂડના કલાકારો સ્ટેજ પર પરફોર્મ કરવાના છે. સૂત્રો અનુસાર, આવા જ એક સોલો પરફોર્મન્સ માટે કરિનાનો સંપર્ક ચેનલે સાધેલો. ત્યારે કરિનાએ આ માટે તૈયારી દેખાડેલી.
કરિના સાથે મહેનતાણા તથા ડાન્સ માટેના ગીત વિશે પણ ચર્ચા થઈ ગયેલી. વાતવાતમાં કરિનાને ખબર પડી કે અન્ય પરફોર્મર્સ શાહિદ કપૂર પણ છે ત્યારે એણે પછીથી તારીખ ન હોવાનું બહાનું આગળ ધરી શોમાંથી ખસી જવાનું મુનાસીબ માન્યું હતું.
કરિના અને શાહિદ બ્રેકઅપ બાદ એકબીજાને મળ્યાં જ નથી. આ કારણસર, કરિનાએ શોના બહાને શાહિદને મળવું ન પડે એ તકેદારી રાખી હોય એવું સૂત્રો કહે છે. કરિના હાલ મુંબઈની બહાર છે પણ ૨૩મીએ એ શહેરમાં જ હશે એવું એની નિકટના સૂત્રો કહે છે. આમ છતાં, શોમાંથી ખસી જવાનું કારણ શાહિદ સિવાય શું હોઈ શકે એ વિચારવાનો મુદ્દો છે.

શાહિદ કરીનાના બ્રેકઅપ બાદ નિર્દેશક સતિશ કૌશિક અને નિર્માતા બોની કપૂરે શાહિદ કરીના સાથેની ‘મિલેગ મિલેગે’ ફિલ્મને વેલેન્ટાઈનના દિવસે રજૂ કરવાનો નિર્ણય કર્યો છે. આ અંગે બોનીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, ‘બોલિવુમાં સૌથી રોમેન્ટિક જોડીનો ખિતાબ મેળવનાર શાહિદ અને કરીના બ્રેકઅપ બાદ કદાચ પહેલીવાર એક સાથે દેખાઈ રહ્યા છે’.
ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે શાહિદ કરીનાના બ્રેકઅપ બાદ તેમની ‘જબ વી મેટ’ ફિલ્મ રજૂ થઈ હતી. ફિલ્મ બાદ લોકોમાં અફવા ફેલાઈ હતી કે શાહિદ કરીનાના હવે ‘મિલેંગ મિલેંગે’ ફિલ્મના ડબિંગમાં કોઈ રસ નથી.
બોનીએ વધુમાં જણાવ્યું હતું કે, ‘શાહિદ અને કરીનાએ મને એક પણ એવો સંકેત નથી આપ્યો કે જેના દ્રારા એવું સાબિત થાય કે બંનેને ફિલ્મના ડબિંગ માટે કોઈ વાંધો હોય. ઉપરાંત ફિલ્મને સેન્સર બોર્ડની માન્યતા પણ મળી ગઈ છે. હવે અમે માત્ર ફિલ્મના ડબિંગ માટે શાહિદ અને કરીનાની રાહ જોઈ રહ્યા છીએ’.
નિર્દેશક સતિશ કૌશિક પણ ફિલ્મને રજૂ કરવા માટે ઉત્સાહિત છે. ફિલ્મ અંગે તેમણે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, ‘શાહિદ ફિલ્મના ડબિંગ માટે રાજી છે. જ્યારે કરીના ફિલ્મ ઉદ્યોગમાં આવી ત્યારથી હું તેને ઓળખું છું. તેમજ મુજે કુછ કહૈના હૈ ફિલ્મ દ્રારા મે તેને બોલિવુડમાં મોટી સફળતા અપાવી હતી. તેમજ મિલેગે મિલેગ ફિલ્મ રિયલ સ્ટોરી પર આધારીત છે. આ ફિલ્મ બાદ રજૂ થઈ રહેલી ‘તેરે સંગ’ ફિલ્મ પણ રિયલ સ્ટોરી ઉપર આધારીત છે’.
પહેલા સતિશ ‘તેરે સંગ’ ફિલ્મને વેલન્ટાઈનના દિવસે રજૂ કરવાનું વિચારી રહ્યો હતો. પરંતુ હવે તેને વિચાર બદલીને મિલેગે મિલેગેને આ દિવસે રજૂ કરવાનો નિર્ણય કર્યો છે.

Kareena Kapoor comes from an old and influential film family. Her grandfather was Raj Kapoor; her great grandfather was Prithviraj Kapoor. She is the daughter of Randhir Kapoor and Babita, who had divorced when she was still young. Rishi Kapoor is one of her uncles. Her sister, Karisma Kapoor, is also an actress. Other living relatives include maternal aunt Sadhana, and cousins Shivani Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and Nikhil Nanda.
Kareena attended Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai and then went to Welham Girl's Boarding School in Dehradun. She then went to Harvard for summer school and took a course in microcomputers and information technology for three months.
Set on pursuing an acting career, she then took an admission in Government Law College at Churchgate to become a lawyer. After completing one year there, she went back to her initial plan of joining the film industry, where she attended the Kishore Namit Kapoor acting school.

Aditya (Shahid Kapur), a defeated industrialist, is even more broken as the girl he loves is getting married. Unable to muster up the courage to return home, he drifts out of the gathering and aimlessly boards a train, bounding away into the night.
